Preservation
All born again believers in Christ are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).
• Salvation is a one-time irreversible event. Jesus compares it to being born physically born (John 3:3).
• Upon salvation we become a child of God, and this can never be undone. Because we did nothing to get saved, we cannot do anything to lose our salvation through sin.
• After we are born again, there is no belief or unbelief that can cause us to lose our salvation. (I Peter 1:3-5; Jude 24; Philippians 1:6).
